The range of independent shops and businesses here is fantastic. Grab a latte whilst perusing the shelves at Phlox Books, or nip into Venner to pick up something for the home. All things floral are the domain of Edie Rose, whilst Yardarm is the place to go for that bottle of wne for a quiet night in. On the High Road itself check out the Leyton Technical, Leyton Star or Coach & Horses, all great for socialising with friends into the wee small hours. If all that sounds too much, perhaps book a class at Pause Yoga, or head literally across the road to the cricket ground to relax in a deckchair to the sound of leather on willow...
