You feel the sense of space and greenery in this location, before you even enter the truly unique property. It’s close to Hollow Ponds, in between Leytonstone and Wanstead, and known locally as Walthamstow on sea.
It’s a strong, private entrance to the flat, with all rooms leading off a central hallway. The large reception room, with secluded dining space, is lit from the large front window and gives plenty of room for relaxing and entertaining.
The flat feels airy and light, with stylish decor and finish throughout, and the contemporary kitchen is bright, with plenty of storage. Each flat owns a section of either front or back garden. In the current arrangement the space at the back is left open so it’s a larger communal feeling space.
This is a light and elegant flat and the bonus outside space and private parking seems to add to the home’s dimensions. The bedrooms are both doubles with built in storage.
The property overlooks Whipps Cross on the edge of Epping Forest, giving you acres of natural green space on your doorstep. Also the exciting Whipps Cross Hospital Redevelopment is set to increase market value in the area.
Although you’re in a peaceful place you’re still near enough to enjoy the buzz of east London. And within walking distance you’ll find lots of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants offering great food.
Also a variety of local schools in the area and good transport links too with Leytonstone tube just a 5 minute cycle away.
An outstanding home larger than many on the market in a special location, shall we take a look?

In The Owners Words...

This property has served me in so many ways over the last 9 years. Originally I lived here with my best friend and enjoyed the single life, many nights out in London and around the area. It then became a rental property, which provided a very useful 2nd income. Finally, it’s been a family home to my daughter and I. Cycling through the forest to her nursery is the perfect start to the day.

I’ve enjoyed investing in the property over the years to bring out the best in it. The extensive storage and loft space mean I’m able to rent out my garage to a local man who makes clocks.

I need to highlight the scenery – it’s truly exceptional with stunning views across Epping Forest which never tire of and bring light into my life everyday. I feel very lucky to have had such a great location and private outdoor space throughout the pandemic.

Literally a few doors down we have our stylish local, the newly renovated Alfred Hitchcock hotel, by the team that worked at the Ivy! Great personalities, friendly service and exceptional food.

My neighbours are kind, taking delivers or popping the bin out if I’m away and everyone takes pride in the property.

I cycle into the city for work within 40minutes and enjoy Wanstead park for pony riding and Sunday walks just 10mins away on my bike. Plus the odd shopping trip at Westfield means no need to travel into London on the weekends. Getting further afield, it’s the perfect location to jump on the M11 to take a road trip home once a month with ease. Plus Stanstead airport is a 40min taxi ride or train to Stratford.

This place has brought great happiness and whoever takes over the ownership will be very lucky indeed.
