In The Owners Words...

This property has served me in so many ways over the last 9 years. Originally I lived here with my best friend and enjoyed the single life, many nights out in London and around the area. It then became a rental property, which provided a very useful 2nd income. Finally, it’s been a family home to my daughter and I. Cycling through the forest to her nursery is the perfect start to the day.

I’ve enjoyed investing in the property over the years to bring out the best in it. The extensive storage and loft space mean I’m able to rent out my garage to a local man who makes clocks.

I need to highlight the scenery – it’s truly exceptional with stunning views across Epping Forest which never tire of and bring light into my life everyday. I feel very lucky to have had such a great location and private outdoor space throughout the pandemic.

Literally a few doors down we have our stylish local, the newly renovated Alfred Hitchcock hotel, by the team that worked at the Ivy! Great personalities, friendly service and exceptional food.

My neighbours are kind, taking delivers or popping the bin out if I’m away and everyone takes pride in the property.

I cycle into the city for work within 40minutes and enjoy Wanstead park for pony riding and Sunday walks just 10mins away on my bike. Plus the odd shopping trip at Westfield means no need to travel into London on the weekends.
