A welcoming home on a quiet avenue, close enough to the buzz of E17, the parks, Wood Street station and beautiful Epping Forest.
There’s room to spread out here, with a large kitchen-diner that overlooks the established garden. The space works as the main living area of the home, where everyone can be together and have room to dine or study too. The extra reception room at the front of the house provides additional space and a cosy retreat in the evenings perhaps.
Having the family bathroom downstairs is convenient and frees up an extra bedroom upstairs, currently used as a home office.
There’s an ‘easy’ feel to the home, with a good flow of light and simple decor throughout. The bedrooms are doubles and like all the rooms are well finished.
Living here you’re within walking distance of Lloyd Park where there’s pop up street food events, along with the wonderful William Morris Gallery and tea room. There’re lots of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby, a couple of our favourites are The Duke and Marilucia for pizza.
There are easy local transport links here with Wood Street station a 5 minute cycle away, and with easy access to the A406 and M11. There’s a variety of schools within walking distance too and sports centres; and to get into nature, you’ve acres of natural green space nearby at Hollow Ponds and Epping Forest.
A well designed family home with a large garden in a quiet location, close to all that’s good in E17. Shall we take a look?
In The Owners Words...
"We have enjoyed this house for the past 7 years and couldn't ask for better neighbours. The way the kitchen opens into the dining room has always spoken to us, and it's been great to refresh the place with the wooden floor, new carpet and bathroom. It's an easy house to live in! Really enjoyed being within walking distance of both Wood St and the center of Walthamstow. Our kids have really enjoyed the fountain at the town hall that is 5 minutes walk away, and the sports centre is about the same, which is great for the gym, swimming and soft play. We'll be sad to leave this house and area!"
